  1. The City of Denver has donated another 30 buffalo to two tribal nations. In an attempt to reintroduce bison to their native habitats, the Denver Parks and Recreation Department and the City of Denver have provided 30 bison to the Northern Arapaho and Eastern Shoshone tribes. (Denverite)
  2. Plans announced to spend $2,400,00o on cloud seeding for Upper Colorado Basin. The funds provided by the U.S government will be utilized to upgrade manually operated generators that can be controlled remotely. Additionally, the funds will be used for cloud seeding via aircraft in critical areas of the Upper Colorado region. (9News)
  3. Colfax Avenue is the top crash hotspot on in Denver according to CDOT. The Colorado Department of Transportation has conducted a study on bicycle and pedestrian safety in metro Denver, which revealed that the stretch of road between Colfax Avenue and Moline Street up to Colfax Avenue and Peoria Street has the highest number of crashes.   4. March is usually metro Denver's snowiest month; it finally gets its first measurable snowfall. Denver typically receives around 11.5 inches of snow in March – making it the city's snowiest month. However, so far this year, the city has experienced a dry start to March, causing it to fall significantly behind its monthly snowfall target. (FOX31)
  5. Job shortage spurs bills that would provide scholarships and free tuition. Gov. Jared Polis has endorsed two bipartisan proposals that are currently making their way through the state legislature. If approved, over 20,000 Colorado residents would be eligible for cost-free education in high-demand sectors. Additionally, over 15,000 students belonging to the Class of 2024 would qualify for scholarships that would provide training in the most challenging positions to fill. (CPR)
