  1. If you get an automated red-light ticket in Denver, do you have to pay it? If you're issued a red-light photo ticket violation notice, you're provided a 15-day period to respond. Failure to respond within 45 days will result in either an in-person penalty assessment notice or a certified mail notice being served. (KDVR)
  2. Amid tension over its future, the STAR program in Denver is scheduled to expand. With success comes growth, the STAR program, also known as Support Team Assisted Response, is set to expand this year, from five to eight vans and staffing will grow from 10 to 16. But some community advisory board members don't agree on the direction the program has taken. (Axios)
  3. Calls for change after refinery repeatedly violates pollution standards. Commerce City Councilwoman Jennifer Allen-Thomas wants to know why the Suncor refinery in her district in Commerce City continues to emit gases that violated state rules 4o times since Christmas 2022. (9News)
