DENVER, CO — Before the city's cutest witches and goblins take to Denver streets in search of Halloween’s sweetest bounty, it’s a good idea for parents to check out what Mother Nature has in store for our community’s annual trick-or-treating festivities.
Trick-or-treating in Denver is planned for the evening of Sunday, Oct. 31. Considering the event is just days away, there’s a good chance we might luck out when it comes to the weather.
As you head out on Sunday evening, expect clouds and chilly temperatures. AccuWeather predicts that temperatures will dip to 36 degrees in the evening, down from an afternoon high of 51 degrees.

However, you likely won't need to pack umbrellas and rain jackets — the chance of precipitation is currently only 25 percent.
Though Halloween is expected to be chilly, the days leading up to the holiday will be significantly warmer. Temperatures on Thursday and Saturday will be in the 60s, and Denver will even hit 71 degrees on Friday.

Halloween Spooktacular, Saturday, 2:30-4 p.m., Boettcher Concert Hall at Denver Performing Arts Center
It’s a spooktacular event for all little monsters! This ghastly good time is a family-favorite concert featuring music from films, television, and more! Costumes are encouraged and even the musicians get in on the festivities!
Easton Denver Halloween Ninja Night, Saturday, 5-8 p.m., Easton Training Center – Denver
The Kids' Martial Arts program at Easton Training Center hosts several Ninja Nights each year as a fun opportunity for kids to get together at the academy after hours to play games with the coaches, watch a movie, and eat pizza. This time, we're going to have a blast with our Halloween party! Make sure you come in your best Halloween costume because this is going to be amazing. Both members and non-members are welcome, bringing friends is encouraged!
BOOnion Station Trick-or-Treat Parade, Thursday, 5-8 p.m., Denver Union Station
All of Denver’s costumed characters, both little and adult-sized are invited to take part in the 7th annual BOOnion Station Trick-or-Treat Parade. This free family-friendly celebration will feature trick-or-treating, mini-train rides, balloon artists, face painting, and more. The parade will begin at 5 p.m., with prizes awarded for first, second, and third place overall best costumes.
