- City of Denver is releasing another batch of e-bike rebates Tuesday morning. Every other month, Denver is providing a finite quantity of rebate vouchers for e-bikes. These vouchers provide a reduction in the initial cost of purchasing an e-bike from a participating bike shop. It is possible to obtain one of the two types of rebate vouchers, if you qualify. (Denver)
- Colorado has become the first in the nation to grant wheelchair users the right to repair their own devices. There is a growing resistance against manufacturers that prohibit customers from repairing their own products. This is being reflected in the implementation of new right-to-repair laws. Last year, Colorado approved one for powered wheelchairs, and if it proves successful, it could pave the way for similar legislation for other products. (KUNC)
- Local author's book captures a glimpse of the Denver's history. Alan Prendergast has uncovered hidden details in the story of the renowned Denver lawman Philip Sidney Van Cise in his new book "Gangbuster." The story captures portrayed Van Cise's colorful and groundbreaking work cleaning up a corrupt city during the early 1900s and ridding the city of its KKK problems. (CO Sun)
- Colorado's IDs are causing some travelers challenges to get through TSA security at the airport. TSA has acknowledged that its scanning software is currently having trouble reading Colorado IDs, which has caused inconvenience for travelers. TSA uses Credential Authentication Technology that scans driver licenses to verify their authenticity. (Westword)
