In Colorado, that means all eight of the state’s congressional office holders will be decided by voters in November.

Due to 2020 census numbers that showed substantial population growth in the previous decade, this is the first time Colorado has eight congressional seats, one more than the former total of seven. Six of the races have incumbents.

The 7th Congressional District race lacks an incumbent, since current Rep. Ed Perlmutter is retiring, and the 8th Congressional District has never had a representative, since it’s brand new.
