Warm And Windy; Thunderstorms: Denver Week-Ahead Weather
Watch for hot, gusty winds Monday with dry heat, causing fire danger. Thunderstorms predicted Tuesday night.
DENVER, CO – Denver's weather this week will start off with hot, gusty winds reaching up to 30 mph on Monday with warm temperatures in the 80s and 90s. These conditions, combined with low relative humidity and the dry vegetation will create high fire danger, the National Weather Service said.
Monday night, a cold front is expected to pass through the area bringing noticeably cooler temperatures and gusty northerly winds to the area on Tuesday, NWS said. It will be mostly cloudy with some light rain showers developing in and near the Front Range and across the northeast plains late Tuesday afternoon and evening. Dry and warmer weather will then return for the remainder of the week.

A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 74. Northeast wind 5 to 9 mph.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10pm, then a chance of showers between 10pm and 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
