Denver's proposed parking regulations, part of a plan to address abandoned vehicles, have received significant backlash for potentially worsening poverty, and lacking community engagement. The ACLU of Colorado sent a five-page letter to Denver City Council members this week, urging them to postpone the final vote and gather more feedback from the public. (Axios)
  4. Denver drops speed limits to 20 mph in bid to reduce traffic fatalities. Denver is decreasing the standard speed limit for many local streets across the city. The new speed limit for local streets has been reduced from 25 mph to 20 mph, which is mainly confined to residential blocks. (9News)
