Brazen Diamond Thieves Break In Through Brick Wall In Golden
Loose diamonds and their certificates were stolen from a Golden jewelry store after thieves smashed a hole in the brick wall, police said.

GOLDEN, CO – Golden police are asking for the public's help to find the thieves who pulled off a January jewelry store burglary by breaking through a brick wall. Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for anyone who comes forward with any information about the crime.
Police released photos of the crime scene at Creekside Jewelers, 1206 Washington Ave. in Golden. The incident occurred overnight Jan. 21, police said.
Thieves got away with "a large number of loose diamonds and their certificates," police said in a statement.

Shots from the scene show displaced bricks and broken drywall around a human-sized hole that investigators said was pounded through in the behind the business.
