Golden To Host Prescription Drug Take-Back Day
The Golden Police Department is participating in a nationwide effort to dispose of prescription drugs.
GOLDEN, CO — If you have unneeded or expired prescription drugs around the house, bring them to Golden City Hall on Saturday, April 27. The Golden Police Department is participating in the DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, an effort by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and state and local law enforcement agencies to remove potentially dangerous controlled substances from our nation’s medicine cabinets.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Golden City Hall, 911 10th St.
The “take-back day” will give an opportunity to the public to surrender expired, unwanted or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications to law enforcement officers for destruction, according to the DEA.
