Golden's Spring Drug Take-Back On April 27
Golden police will accept unused and expired medications as part of the national DEA drug take-back programs.
GOLDEN, CO – The Golden Police Department will be collecting unused and expired medications as part of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 27. The program is organized by the US DEA to help prevent drug addiction and overdose deaths.
In Golden the program will give residents a safe way to dispose of those unneeded meds.
Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, you can drop off unneeded prescription drugs safely and anonymously at the Golden Firehouse offices at 911 10th Street.

- Pet Medications
- Vitamins
- Liquid Medications in leak-proof containers
- Medicated Ointments and Lotions
