Hiker's Death Investigated By JeffCo Sheriff's Office
BREAKING: The JeffCo sheriff's office is conducting a death investigation involving a hiker, the office confirmed.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO – The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a hiker in unincorporated JeffCo, the sheriff's office confirmed Tuesday.
The hiker, who was not identified was thought to have died accidentally, sheriff's spokesperson Michael Taplin said in an email. Taplin declined to give a date or location of the death.
"The case is ongoing so no other details can be given out right now.," Taplin said in an email.

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office will make the final determination, Taplin said.
