Jefferson County, CO. – As National Emergency Preparedness Month draws to a close, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office introduces a new, interactive and user-friendly Disaster and Emergencies Guide to help residents prepare and plan for disasters. Volume One of the guide focuses on wildfires and encourages residents to “Be Your Own Hero” by preparing and protecting themselves and their property against wildfires. The guide is available on the Sheriff’s Office website and can be reviewed and downloaded at https://bit.ly/JCSOWildfire. The Be Your Own Hero flyer is attached.
