Woman's Body Found Near Wheat Ridge: JeffCo Sheriff
An unidentified woman was found dead in an industrial area in unincorporated Jefferson County, the sheriff's office said.
WHEAT RIDGE, CO – A woman's body was found early Monday morning behind a commercial building near Wheat Ridge in unincorporated Jefferson County, the JeffCo Sheriff's Office said.

The deceased woman, later identified as Naomi Rodriguez, in her early 20s, was found around 7 a.m. near a building in the 4800 block of Ward Road.

The death is being treated as "suspicious," the JeffCo Sheriff's office said in a press release.
The agency did not release the name of the woman. An autopsy was scheduled with the Jefferson County Coroner for Tuesday, and no name would be released until next of kin were notified, the sheriff's office said.
