11 Displaced After Lakewood Apartment Fire
A fire started in some bushes and spread through a Lakewood complex, fire officials said. No injuries were reported.

LAKEWOOD, CO — Eleven residents were displaced Monday night after a fire broke out in a Lakewood apartment building, fire officials said.
The fire started in some bushes outside the complex in the 200 block of Zang Street, according to South Metro Fire Rescue. The fire spread through the side of the building and into the eaves and roof, fire officials said.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze and reunite a cat with its owner.

All residents were able to get out of the building and no injuries were reported, South Metro Fire Rescue said.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
