Apple Picking, Pumpkin Patches Near Lakewood: Fall Guide 2018

Check here for nearby corn mazes, pumpkin patches and apple picking as fall begins this weekend.

LAKEWOOD, CO – As fall begins Sunday, and leaves turn from green to gold, red and brown, Coloradans start to think about the harvest season, corn mazes and fresh, juicy apples and pumpkins.

The Colorado Department of Agriculture wants you to visit the apple orchards, corn mazes and pumpkin patches near you to celebrate Colorado's farmers.

Some of these locations are simple, no-frills orchards that offer just apples and other produce to pick — and perhaps, some apple-cider doughnuts for sale — while others offer fall activities and plenty of them (we are talking corn mazes, wagon rides, petting zoos and much, much more).
