LAKEWOOD, CO — A popular restaurant chain has opened a new eatery in Lakewood. BJ's Restaurant &amp; Brewhouse opened Monday on a freestanding pad on Colfax Avenue at Denver West Village. The 7,500-square-foot restaurant seats around 230 guests. BJ's menu includes its signature deep-dish pizza, handcrafted beer and its pizza cookie — 'Pizookie' — dessert. "We are excited to open our last restaurant of the year in Lakewood, Colorado," Greg Trojan, BJ's chief executive officer, said in a statement. "Lakewood is our sixth restaurant in the state of Colorado and our third location in the Denver metropolitan area, joining our Aurora and Westminster restaurants.
