Bow-Wow Film Festival Returns To Lakewood [WATCH TRAILER]
Bring your pooch to the Lakewood Heritage Center Amphitheater to see the year's best short films about our canine best friends.
LAKEWOOD, CO – Does your pooch enjoy sitting on the couch watching TV about humans with you? Take your best friend to the 4th-Annual Bow Wow Film Festival 2018 and let your pet enjoy "Short Films for the Love of Dog!" on July 27. Bow Wow is a "traveling film festival that celebrates, educates and inspires all things doggie (with or without their human) through the art of short film," according to the organizers.
The outdoor film fest (with seating the grass –bring a camping chair!) is a celebration of the canine buddies in our lives, but also a fundraiser for the Lakewood nonprofit Spay Today, Neuter Now.
The event at Lakewood Heritage Center, 801 S. Yarrow St., starts at 6 p.m. with live music and a beer garden. You can also acquire a low-cost vaccination, dog license and microchip for your pet, or chat with Lakewood Animal control officers.
