Car Plunges Into Pool In Lakewood
A driver crashed into a pool in Lakewood. No injuries were reported.

LAKEWOOD, CO — A car plowed through a fence in Lakewood Friday and crashed into a pool, police said.
The crash occurred in the 1100 block of South Flower Circle, fire officials said. A driver and a passenger were able to get out of the vehicle, and the driver was issued a citation.
"Man….it’s a #Hot one out there today, it would be a good day to jump in the…[facepalm emoji]...pool," the Lakewood Police Department said in a tweet.

The car was fully submerged, but no injuries were reported, the department said. The cause of the crash was not known.
West Metro Fire Rescue dive crews and Ace Towing helped police pull the car out of the pool, police said.
