Colorado Coronavirus Update: 712 New Cases Reported
Here are the latest coronavirus numbers in Colorado.
Colorado has seen a decline in coronavirus case numbers since mid-January, and the daily case numbers have remained steady over the past few weeks, public health officials said.
Between Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon, 712 new cases of the coronavirus were reported in Colorado.
As of Sunday, 450,630 cases of the coronavirus have been reported in the state among more than 2,680,000 people who have been tested since the outbreak began, health officials confirmed. Around 24,490 people have been hospitalized.

Colorado's COVID-19 death toll:
- Deaths due to COVID-19: 6,149
- Deaths among cases: 6,073
Around 27 percent of the state's critical care ventilators were in use as of Sunday, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

Around 8 percent of Colorado hospitals reported anticipating staff shortages over the next week, and 3 percent of facilities reported anticipating ICU bed shortages.
Coloradans ages 50 and older, as well as people ages 16 to 49 with one high-risk health condition, are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
