Lakewood Man Killed In Summit County Ski Accident
Nicholas Vigil, 24, died Sunday of a traumatic brain injury after crashing at Copper Mountain Ski Resort. He was wearing a helmet.

SUMMIT COUNTY, CO —Nicholas Vigil, of Lakewood, was killed Sunday in a skiing accident at Copper Mountain Ski Resort in Summit County, the Summit County Coroner Regan Wood has announced.
The 24-year-old Vigil's death was ruled an accident and the cause was traumatic brain injury, the coroner said.
According to authorities, Vigil had been skiing with friends in a treed area adjacent to the intermediate Collage run at the resort, when he lost control and crashed. He was wearing a helmet at the time.
