Lakewood's Cider Days: Schedule, Activities, Entertainment

The popular Lakewood festival will include hard cider and beer tasting, live music, wagon and barrel train rides and kids' activities.

LAKEWOOD, CO — For 44 years, Coloradans have flocked to the Cider Days Festival to celebrate local agricultural heritage with cider tastings, live performances and many activities for people of all ages. And just like the good old days, the festival will feature a pie eating contest, a magic show, square dancing, a baking contest and a tractor pull.

The festival will be run from 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6.

General admission tickets, which provide admission for one day, are $6 in advance or $8 the day of.

Separate tickets are needed for the Hard Cider Tasting, which will offer unlimited samples of more than 50 hard ciders from around the world and a commemorative glass. General admission and a Hard Cider Tasting Package is $30 if purchased in advance and $38 the day of. The tasting will be open from noon to 4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Proceeds will benefit the Colorado Cider Guild. Children are allowed into the tasting area with their parent or guardian.
