Lunchbox Express Brings Free Lunches To Lakewood Kids
Jewish Family Service sponsors free lunch delivery to Lakewood and Denver locations for kids who miss school lunches during the summer.

LAKEWOOD, CO -- It's lunch time! Jewish Family Service's Lunchbox Express begins their mobile food delivery service next week to bring free lunches to underserved children at several Lakewood locations.
In repurposed school buses, volunteers deliver box lunches to feed hungry Colorado kids when school is out and children don’t have access to free or reduced-fee lunches in their schools.
In 2018, the program will operate five buses and deliver food to 16 sites in the Denver metro area.
