LAKEWOOD, CO — A man was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder of 28-year-old Jesus Arambula Terrones in Lakewood, the Jefferson County district attorney's office announced. Israel Becerril-Rodriguez, 27, was convicted Thursday of first-degree murder. His sentencing hearing took place Tuesday. Becerril-Rodriguez is being held at the Jefferson County jail and declined to appear for his sentencing hearing, the DA's office said. Lakewood police found Arambula Terrones dead with five gunshot wounds on Nov. 3, 2019, at the 7-Eleven store at 1107 S. Sheridan Blvd., police said.
