Man Who Allegedly Exposed Himself Sought By Police In Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, CO – Lakewood police are asking the public's help to find a man who allegedly exposed himself to residents.

Police said the incident happened on Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. and again at 2:15 p.m.

Two sets of witnesses said they saw the unknown man while they were using the pool at the Ashford Belmar Apartments, 7301 W. Ohio Ave. Witnesses told police the man was sitting in a chair "with his shirt pulled over his knees and his arms tucked in the shirt," police said. Both groups of witnesses told police the man was allegedly masturbating while sitting in the chair, and later was allegedly masturbating in the pool as well. Witnesses told police the man exposed his genitals to them.

When one of the victims confronted the man, he reportedly ran into a bathroom and was later seen walking northbound through the apartment complex.

Police described the man as a Hispanic male of darker complexion, 5’8”-6’0” feet tall, very thin, bald, wearing red shirt and black “boxer brief” shorts. Witnesses said he was carrying a tan backpack at the pool. He was last seen wearing a lime green polo shirt with horizontal blue stripes and baggy dark blue jeans when leaving the pool area.
