Merryhill Preschool Students Send 100 Cards to Hospitalized Children

Campers created handmade cards for Cards for Hospitalized Kids

Students at Merryhill Preschool in Castle Rock recently sent 100 handmade cards to Cards for Hospitalized Kids, a nonprofit that spreads hope, joy and magic to hospitalized kids across America through uplifting, handmade cards. Students worked together to create the beautiful cards, which will be sent to children who are currently in the hospital.

Merryhill Preschool instills a sense of social responsibility at an early age by implementing opportunities for students to learn about the importance of giving back to their communities and helping others in need. Its signature Links to Learning preschool curriculum emphasizes social-emotional learning as a stepping stone for kindergarten and beyond. Teachers work with children to help recognize and label emotions in themselves and others, while learning how they fit into their community and the larger world.
