Metro Denver Snowfall Totals: Some Areas Get More Than 2 Feet

Here's a look at snowfall totals in Denver, Arvada, Lakewood, Littleton and other metro Denver cities.

A snowstorm hit Colorado over the weekend and left some Front Range regions with more than 3 feet of snow. Some metro Denver cities recorded more than 2 feet of snowfall, according to the latest totals from the National Weather Service.

The agency issued a blizzard warning Sunday for Denver's western metro area, Boulder and other Colorado cities. Winds gusted between 30 and 40 mph, weather officials said.

Downtown Denver got between 6 and 17.5 inches of snow, and Denver International Airport saw between 11 and 27 inches, according to the National Weather Service.

Here's a look at snowfall totals in other areas:

  • Lakewood: Between 5.5 and 16 inches
  • Arvada: Between 6 and 28.5 inches
  • Littleton: Between 5 and 15 inches
  • Westminster: Between 6.4 and 25 inches
  • Broomfield: Between 7 and 24 inches
  • Golden: 21.5 inches
  • Boulder: Between 8 and 20 inches

Most government buildings will be closed Monday, and many schools also announced closures.
