Another dump of snow is likely heading for Denver's metro area Tuesday evening, weather officials said.

More snowfall is expected Tuesday in Denver's metro area, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.

There's a 40 percent chance of snow before noon Tuesday across Denver's metro area, but the chance of precipitation will increase in the evening to 70 percent, weather officials said.

"New snow accumulation of around an inch is possible," the forecast read.

You can expect a high of 43 degrees Tuesday and a low around 27.

There will be a 40 percent chance of snow showers Wednesday, and a slight chance of snow showers Thursday and Friday, the agency said.
