More snow could fall late Monday night and Tuesday in Denver's metro area, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.

There's a 50 percent chance of snow after 11 p.m. Monday across Denver's metro area, which is expected to drop to a 40 percent chance Tuesday morning, weather officials said.

"New snow accumulation of less one inch is possible," the forecast read.

Wind overnight could gust up to 45 mph, the agency said.

You can expect a high of 41 degrees Tuesday and a low around 21.

A mostly clear sky can be expected for the rest of the week, and highs in the mid-70s are predicted for the long weekend.
