  1. Downtown Denver parking lots are now required to post information about violations and citations. Molly Duplechain, executive director of the Denver Department of Excise and Licenses says, "Our goal is to increase accountability for the parking lot license holders and transparency for consumers as they decide where to park in Denver." (Fox 31)
  2. May is Asian American Pacific Islander History Month and there will be events on the CU Denver campus all throughout the month. Some of these events include a talk called “Academic Success Leadership Program (ASLP): Telling Our Story” and a networking evening with Asian American and Pacific Islander alumni. (CU Denver News)
  3. Casa Bonita is reopening next month after being purchased by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone in September of 2021. Casa Bonita is currently looking for its past customers to upload images and stories of their memories with Casa Bonita to celebrate the reopening. (Fox 31)
  4. In order to have the spending power of a six-figure income, a Denver household must actually earn $162,700 in annual income. This ranks Denver as No. 22 out of the 76 U.S. cities included in the study. The three cities where over $300,000 is needed to have the spending power of a six-figure income are Honolulu, New York City and San Francisco. (Fox 31)
