See Which Toys Are Needed For The Action Center Holiday Gift Shop

LAKEWOOD, CO – If you're feeling a little extra holiday spirit this year, Lakewood's Action Center is looking for toy donations to help make sure every one of Jefferson County's children in need receives a high-quality holiday toy.

Starting Dec. 10 - Dec. 15, the Action Center's 46th Annual Holiday Gift Shop will allow parents of 3,800 JeffCo children to pick holiday gifts.

"Through the Holiday Gift Shop the Action Center helps families in our community by reducing the stress and financial burden of the holiday season," said Executive Director Pam Brier in a statement. "This time of year families who are already struggling face increased pressure with the desire to create a happy holiday for their children. We are here to ease that burden and bring needed joy to children in our community."

Here are the gifts the organization is looking for:

• Remote Control Cars & Trucks
• Skateboard and Scooters
• Science Kits
• Arts & Craft Kits
• Nail & Make-up Kits
• Action figures
• Star Wars or "Frozen" Toys
• Bicycles and Helmets

Gifts may be dropped of at 8755 West 14th Ave. in Lakewood
