South Park Creators Announce Deal To Buy Casa Bonita
Trey Parker and Matt Stone say they've struck a deal to buy the iconic restaurant, which was featured on their show.

LAKEWOOD, CO — The iconic, yet embattled restaurant Casa Bonita is set to be purchased by "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the pair announced during a meeting with Gov. Jared Polis on Friday.
Pending bankruptcy proceedings — which could take several months — Parker and Stone said they've struck an agreement with Casa Bonita's owner to make the purchase.
The popular eatery and family entertainment venue, at 6715 W Colfax Ave., filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April, and rallies and fundraisers have been held in an effort to save the restaurant. Casa Bonita has been closed for about a year, but its gift shop and arcade have reopened.
