Here are the top three stories in Lakewood today:
- After a two-year hiatus, the West Denver Brewery Bike Loop returns for the summer. WestFax Brewing Company in Lakewood is the first stop to participate in the celebration of biking and beer, with a Pride-themed event this Saturday, Jun. 25 at 11:30 a.m. Get more details on each of the rides here. (edgewaterecho.com)
- It's a great weekend for Denver's art scene, with plenty of upcoming shows to catch — including four right here in Lakewood. Head over to Valkarie Gallery, Next Gallery, Core Art New Space, and Edge Gallery to catch one (or all!) of the new shows, all of which are opening tomorrow (Friday, Jun. 24). Visit Westword to learn more about each of these, as well as other upcoming art shows in the Denver area. (Westword)
- Break a sweat without breaking the bank! Join Lakewood Recreation this Saturday morning, Jun. 25, at 8:00 a.m. for a free Zumba class at Belmar Park. If you can't make this weekend's session, don't worry: classes will run every Saturday through Aug. 27 at various Lakewood parks. (City of Lakewood, CO)
