1. What's the Plan for the Historic Clock on 4th Street in Downtown Loveland? (kool1079.com) — Downtown Loveland’s historic 4th Street clock has been removed for sidewalk and infrastructure work, but the city says it’s safely stored and will return to its longtime spot at 239 4th Street. Officials are also working with specialists to restore the 115-year-old landmark to full working order, preserving a beloved piece of the Sweetheart City’s history for residents and visitors.
   

2. ‘Stranger Things' are happening in Loveland, 14-year-old goes viral for decorated house (reporterherald.com) — A Loveland teen has turned his home at 484 Deer Creek Court into a massive “Stranger Things” holiday display, drawing hundreds of nightly visitors. His handmade Mind Flayer, Demogorgon, and other props are open for photos from 5:30–9:30 p.m. through Jan. 1, offering fans a free, retro-themed outing close to home.
   

3. Utilities project now underway in east Loveland (reporterherald.com) — Loveland Utilities has started preliminary work on a major wastewater interceptor project in east Loveland near Denver Avenue and East First Street. Over the coming weeks, crews will install 1,500 feet of new pipe, with a full closure of Denver Avenue and extended westbound detours via U.S. 34 or Mountain Lion Avenue expected in later phases.
   

4. Chapungu Sculpture Park (atlasobscura.com) — Loveland’s Chapungu Sculpture Park at Centerra offers residents a 26-acre outdoor gallery of 82 Zimbabwean stone sculptures set among native plants and wildlife. The park highlights the Shona sculpture movement, connects to Loveland’s strong sculpture reputation, and has been a public art destination since 2007. It’s a free, walkable way to explore global art close to home.
   

5. Colorado Town Becomes Home to More Than 5 Guinness World Records (wearemontrose.com) — Loveland has now been home to six Guinness World Records, most recently Luke Lorick’s 46-foot, 3-inch blindfolded cornhole shot during a 2023 downtown charity event. From unicorn collections to vampire gatherings and bodybuilding, the Sweetheart City keeps racking up quirky, crowd-pleasing milestones that spotlight local residents and downtown venues.
