Donations nearly triple expectations for the ‘Be a Santa to a Senior' program (kjct8.com) — Seniors in the Montrose area are among those receiving surprise holiday gifts through the “Be a Santa to a Senior” program, which nearly tripled its original donation goal. With help from the Western Colorado Parole Division, gifts and care baskets are being delivered across Montrose, Rifle, Battlement Mesa, Delta, and Grand Junction, and Home Instead still has surplus items available for local seniors in need.
