• Wreaths Across America ceremonies set for Saturday in Glenwood Springs and Silt (postindependent.com) — Silt residents are invited to a Wreaths Across America ceremony at Silt Cemetery this Saturday at 1 p.m., honoring 36 veterans buried there. The Glenwood Springs DAR chapter is expanding its annual remembrance from Glenwood Springs to Silt, with military-branch wreath presentations and volunteers placing balsam wreaths on individual veteran graves. Both ceremonies are free and open to the public.
   

• GarCo Report: Library trustee interviews set for Friday, Dec. 10 (soprissun.com) — Garfield County commissioners will interview library trustee candidates Friday, after steering applicants from the 81652 ZIP code toward an upcoming Silt trustee opening. The meeting also covered graywater rules, jail food contracts, and emergency communications funding, all of which shape county services Silt residents rely on.
