"We prepare for snow moving in tonight," said WFSB 3 TV meteorologists. "Over the last 24 hours, we have been watching this storm very closely - there has been a significant shift to the track of the storm, but the timing has remained consistent. What does this mean? Snow will begin around 7pm, moving from SW to NE, heaviest through midnight, continuing overnight, and wrapping up Saturday morning by 7am. But the shift in track means we will see increased snow totals, as high as 5-8″ in W CT. Our forecast calls for 3-6″ for central CT, and 2-5″ in eastern CT. As a result, there is a Winter Storm Warning in effect for Fairfield, New Haven, and Litchfield counties, and a Winter Weather Advisory points east." (Read more at WFSB 3 TV).
