2 Young Children, Adult Driver Seriously Injured In Crash: State Police

The driver was flown to a local hospital, according to state police.

BROOKLYN, CT — Three people were seriously injured in a crash including a 7-year-old and a 2-year-old child, state police said.

A 2016 Nissan Frontier was traveling on Elliot Road when it left the road and struck a tree, state police said.

The driver, a Pomfret resident, sustained serious injuries and was taken by LifeStar to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment, state police said.

The juvenile passengers were taken by ambulance to a local children's hospital for treatment of serious injuries, state police said.

The crash is under investigation. The state police report indicates that a 7-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl were passengers in the vehicle. The crash occurred Sunday just before 3 p.m.
