Bristol Motorcyclist Killed In Harwinton Crash: Police
The motorcycle rear-ended a car which had slowed down to make a left turn, according to police.
HARWINTON, CT — A Bristol man was killed Saturday afternoon after the motorcycle he was operating collided with a vehicle on Route 72, according to state police.
Police identified the motorcyclist as Jhonatan Jiron, 40, of Bristol.
The accident happened Saturday at 2:07 p.m. According to police, a Mazda CX-30 operated by a 23-year-old Burlington woman was traveling southbound on Route 72, and Jiron’s Harley Davidson was traveling directly behind it.

The Mazda slowed down to make a left turn onto East Church Road, and the motorcycle struck the rear of the vehicle, state police said.
The operator of the Mazda sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention.
