BRISTOL, CT — Palma's Diner in Bristol is temporarily closed after a vehicle crashed into the building on Friday.
In a Facebook post, the popular diner at 100 Stafford Ave. announced it was temporarily closed after the latest crash there.
"The craziness never seems to end!!! We are thankful no one was hurt and luckily this time the damage isn’t overly severe," the owners of the diner posted on social media. "Unfortunately there is work that needs to be done in order to get the front door functioning and we will be closed until further notice. We will post more as we know more. See you all soon! The Palma’s P.S. May be time to put a stoplight at that intersection!"

According to Fox 61, the crash involved 2-vehicles and happened around 2 p.m. and the diner was closed at that time. One vehicle hit the diner's front door, Fox 61 reported.
It's the second time the diner has been impacted by a crash in 2023. In January, a police vehicle was stolen and the suspect driving the police vehicle crashed into Palma's Diner, which caused extensive damage.
