Coronavirus Numbers Continue To Dwindle Down In Connecticut
State has positivity rate of .55% for coronavirus cases over weekend.

A New Britain resident was one of seven in the state to die from coronavirus-associated illness over the weekend. The city has had 213 virus associated deaths, while the state has now reached an overall total of 8,253.

New Britain has had 213 virus-associated deaths among residents, while Bristol has had 136, Newington 100, Southington 97, Plainville 38, Berlin 31 and Plymouth 11 since reporting began.
There were 35,968 coronavirus tests reported since Friday with 197 coming back as positive cases, a positivity rate of 0.55%. There was a decrease of 10 residents hospitalized with coronavirus for an overall total of 72. There are 26 covid patients currently in Hartford County hospitals, one less than last Friday.

New Britain had an increase of one coronavirus case reported over the weekend and has had an overall total of 9,678.
Bristol had an increase of one in coronavirus cases since Friday and has had an overall total of 6,006.
Southington had an increase of six in virus cases over the weekend and has had 3,709 cases overall.
Newington had a decrease of one in virus cases reported since Friday and has an overall total of 2,712.
Berlin had two positive virus cases over the weekend and has an overall total of 1,581.
Plainville had an increase of four virus cases since Friday and has an overall total of 1,589.
Plymouth had a decrease of one case over the weekend and has an overall total of 956.
