CT-Made Cookies Recalled Due To Undeclared Allergens
The cookies were distributed to grocers around Connecticut.

CONNECTICUT — A Waterbury-based bakery is recalling six flavors of its cookies because of undeclared allergens, including almonds, sesame and food dyes.
The cookies were made by Gina Marie Bakery of Waterbury, according to the state Department of Consumer Protection’s Food and Standards Division.
The cookies have been distributed to grocery stores throughout the state.

Customers with allergies or sensitivities to nuts, sesame seeds or food dyes should not consume the cookies, due to the potential for serious or life-threatening allergic reactions, the state cautioned.
No illnesses have been reported so far, according to the DCP.

The recall includes the following flavors and undeclared ingredients:
- Italian Mixed Vanilla Cookies (Almonds, Sesame, Red 40, Red 3, and Blue 1)
- Italian Sesame Cookies (Yellow 5, Red 40, Yellow 6)
- Vanilla Chocolate Dipped Cookies (Red 40)
- Vanilla with Apricot Jam Cookies (Red 40 and Yellow 6)
- Toasted Almond & Cherry Biscotti (Red 40)
- Vanilla Cookies with Raspberry Peach Jam (Red 3 and Blue 1)
The recalled cookies were distributed to the following stores:
