Weekend Weather Forecast Takes A Turn For The Worse In CT: What To Know

Here are the new details on the weekend weather forecast in CT and some significant changes are on the horizon.

CONNECTICUT — The weekend weather forecast for Connecticut appears to have taken a turn for the worse.

Earlier this week, it appeared that we'd finally be looking at a sunny and nice weekend, but the weather on Sunday now appears to be cloudy with rain showers now in the forecast. We just seemingly can't escape rain on the weekends.

Saturday still looks splendid, with sunshine and temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. Temperatures dip into the mid 60s on Sunday and by Halloween the high temperatures will struggle to reach the mid 50s.

The National Weather Service said a "cold front brings rain chances, mainly Sunday and Monday."

"Frontal system and cold front then approaches from the west on Sunday increasing clouds and precipitation chances. Based on current model timing, Sunday afternoon into midday on Monday look to be when a bulk of the precipitation would fall," according to the National Weather Service.

It doesn't appear that the rain will be heavy on Sunday afternoon but if you have outdoor plans it is something to be aware of.
