CT Weather: Flash Flooding Concerns Rise As Strong Storms Forecast, New Timeline Released

The National Weather Service said most of the rain could fall within three to six hours. Here's the new timeline.

Connecticut is under a flood watch starting Thursday afternoon, when heavy rain and storms are expected to begin sweeping through the state.

WFSB is calling Thursday a “First Alert Weather Day” due to the statewide flood watch and risk for excessive rain.

This morning is expected to stay mostly dry, but the precipitation will ramp up this afternoon and will impact the evening commute, according to WFSB.
