Driver Charged In Bristol Double Fatal Pedestrian Accident: Police

The two pedestrians were crossing Pine Street in Bristol when they were struck, according to police.

BRISTOL, CT — A city woman was charged Tuesday with hitting and killing two pedestrians while she was driving on Pine Street last June.

Carlee Patterson, 25, of 122 Park St., Bristol, is charged with misconduct with a motor vehicle and failing to obey a traffic signal, according to police.

The accident happened on June 24, 2024. The two pedestrians, Fay Clarity and Nicholas Cricco, were crossing Pine Street in the early morning when they were struck by Patterson’s vehicle, according to police. They were rushed to area hospitals but later succumbed to their injuries.

Patterson was arraigned Tuesday in Superior Court in New Britain, and her case was continued until April 1.
