New Chick-fil-A Eatery Planned For Bristol
The chain aims to have a new restaurant on Farmington Avenue.

BRISTOL, CT — A new Chick-fil-A restaurant is being planned for vacant land at 1249 Farmington Ave.
The project is part of a larger development, which also includes a medical office building and a car wash on Farmington Avenue, or Route 6.
Planning and zoning officials approved the project in 2023. At the time, no tenant was given for the eatery, and it was described only as a fast food restaurant.

The Farmington Avenue site has a number of fast-food restaurants nearby, with a Wendy’s next door and a Popeye’s and Taco Bell across the street.
According to Chick-fil-A’s website, it has more than a dozen restaurants in Connecticut, with the closest on Queen Street in Southington.
Its menu includes breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings, from a chicken, egg and cheese biscuit to a spicy chicken sandwich.
Chick-fil-A, founded in 1967, says it has more than 3,000 restaurants across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. In 2023, it announced plans to expand into Europe and Asia.
