New Meteorologist Joins CT Television News Station
He hails from the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
CONNECTICUT — De Shaun Robinson has joined Fox61 as its newest meteorologist and multi-skilled journalist, he announced last month on Facebook.
Most recently, Robinson was a meteorologist at WENY-TV in Elmira, New York, where he spent two and a half years.
"Sad to have left the Elmira area, but I am so excited to announce my new chapter with FOX61 News in Hartford, Connecticut," Robinson wrote. "A new adventure awaits me in a new area!"

Robinson hails from the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, and moved to New York City in 2015.
He graduated from Stony Brook University in 2022 with a degree in Atmospheric Science.

Well wishes from former colleagues and fans poured into the comments section on Robinson's Facebook post following the announcement.
"So proud of you De Shaun!" wrote former WENY colleague Katherine Schwalm on Facebook. "You are truly missed, but we are rooting loud for you here in the Twin Tiers."
