Police ID Motorist Killed In Bristol Crash

The driver was ejected in the one-vehicle accident early Wednesday, according to police.

BRISTOL, CT — The 22-year-old man who was fatally injured in an early Wednesday one-car crash on Witches Rock Road has been identified as Logan Pinette of Bristol.

Police early Thursday released his name. They initially withheld it pending notification of next of kin.

On Thursday morning, a cross memorial had been put up on a tree at the crash scene, which is near the intersection with Cove Road.

The wooden cross has the name “Logan” written on it, along with his birth and death years. A bouquet of flowers had been placed alongside it.

The accident happened around 12:51 a.m. Wednesday.

Responding officers found the driver ejected from the vehicle and suffering life-threatening injuries. Police began lifesaving measures until emergency medical personnel arrived. Pinette was rushed to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
