Torrington Police Officer Dies At 34, Mourned Across Connecticut
He is survived by his wife Meghan and 2-year-old son Finn, police said.

TORRINGTON, CT — The local community and beyond is mourning the death of Torrington Police Sgt. Nicholas Lettieri, 34, who died after a "courageous battle with pancreatic cancer."
He is survived by his wife Meghan and 2-year-old son Finn. The police department announced the news in a social media post stating "It is with extreme sadness and deep regret that I announce the passing of Torrington Police Sergeant Nicholas Lettieri, age 34. An 11-year veteran of the department. Sgt Lettieri passed away peacefully Saturday evening at Hartford Hospital after his courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by his family, loved ones, friends and members of his TPD and law enforcement family. He is survived by his wife Meghan and 2-year-old son Finn. No arrangements have been made at this time. Please keep the Lettieri family and Torrington PD officers in your thoughts and prayers. Our condolences go out to the entire Lettieri family during this extremely difficult time. Thank you. Chief Baldwin"
