Auditions For Avon Theater Group's Second Production Are Next Week
Actors/actresses are being sought for Playhouse 44's January production of Neil Simon's 'Plaza Suite.'

AVON, CT — Avon's "Playhouse 44"theater group is hosting auditions next week for its next production, a Neil Simon-written play to be performed in January.
Auditions will happen on Monday, Oct. 14, and Tuesday, Oct. 15, at The Yoga Shop of Avon, Riverdale Farms, 136 Simsbury Road, Avon, Building 4, 2nd floor.

They will take place from 7:30 to 10 p.m.
Those interested can select either day and arrive between 7:20 and 9:20 p.m. and actors should be prepared for a short to moderate wait.

Callbacks will be on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Playhouse 44 is conducting its second theatrical production, the Neil Simon comedy, "Plaza Suite."
Performances will be on Friday, Jan. 17, Saturday, Jan. 18 and Sunday, Jan. 19, in Avon High School's state-of-the-art auditorium.
Rehearsals will be in November, December, and early January.
Plaza Suite comprises three interconnected one-act plays that each take place in the same elegant suite at the New York Plaza Hotel.
Each one-act primarily concerns a man and a woman dealing with personal, marital, or romantic situations, typically in a comic way (and sometimes a little drama).
Auditions are for experienced and acting newcomers.
The age range for main roles is 40s through 50s.
Age range for supporting roles (male and female): early 20s through late 30s.
Other than some secondary characters, each one-act will have a separate cast.
Sides will be provided and those trying out should bring a resume if you have one.
