Avon To Celebrate Pride Month On Sunday
The event starts at 10 a.m. and will conclude with a special Pride Flag raising ceremony at 11:30 a.m.
AVON, CT — Avon is kicking off its Pride Month celebration with a special event on Sunday, June 1.
From 10 to 11 a.m., there will be a sidewalk celebration of Pride Month on West Avon Road from Country Club to Scoville Road.
That celebration will feature music, flags, and signs of Pride Month support for the LGBTQ community, with parking at the nearby Avon Free Library and Avon High School.

Then, at 11 a.m., a procession will begin a march toward the library where a Pride Flag ceremony will take place.
